How Our Provider Network Works

Talk with a local provider

The Person on the Other End

When you reach out through this site, you are not talking with K Heating & Air employees who will come to your home. Your request goes to an independent HVAC provider in your area, or to a marketing partner that connects you with one. The person who contacts you works for that provider's business.

Providers are separate companies. They set their own prices, schedules and warranties. They are responsible for their own licenses and insurance.

What the First Conversation Covers

Expect the provider to ask a few simple questions:

  • Where is the home, and what is your ZIP code?
  • Is this a furnace, an AC, a heat pump or something else?
  • What is the system doing, and when did it start?
  • Is anyone in the home at risk from heat, cold or a gas smell?

If it sounds like a safety issue, the provider may tell you to shut the system off or leave the home before anything else. Follow that advice.

If a visit makes sense, the provider sets a time. They may give a rough idea of the diagnostic fee on the phone. Ask for it in writing if you can.

Questions Worth Asking Any Provider

You have every right to ask questions before someone works on your system. Good ones include:

  • Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work in this state?
  • Is there a fee for the diagnostic visit, and does it count toward the repair?
  • Will I get a written estimate before you start?
  • What warranty do you offer on parts and labor?
  • If the system is old, will you price both repair and replacement?

A provider who answers clearly is easier to trust. If the answers feel vague, it is fine to look elsewhere.

You Stay in Charge

Nothing happens without your approval. You can decline an estimate, ask for more time or get other quotes. You never have to hire a provider we connect you with, and K Heating & Air will not pressure you to.

Ready When You Are

Start with the estimate form and tell us what is going on. A local provider will follow up.
